Welcome to United Elementary 17th Street, home of the Polar Bears!

Here, relationships matter most. We believe every child is capable of greatness, and greatness starts with being known: your strengths, your struggles, your story. From that foundation, we build everything else: a rigorous curriculum, strong social, emotional, and behavioral skills, and a community where kids feel safe enough to take risks and supported enough to grow.

By the time our Polar Bears leave 5th grade, they can problem solve, communicate with confidence, advocate for themselves, hold themselves accountable, and show up for the people around them. That is the goal: not just ready for the next grade, but ready for life.
